Diffusing Lens Modules for LED

Based on the luminous flux controlling technology acquired through the optical waveguide development, we have created a diffusing lens to facilitate the effective use of environmentally friendly LEDs with improved user-friendliness.

The module achieves reduced power consumption and CO2 emissions.

In order to produce uniformed luminance on the display, the modules need to be spaced to make a number of equilateral triangles as described right.

Distance between the diffusing plate and the aluminum substrate

The following needs to be complied with in order to produce uniformed luminance on the display:

  • The distance between the diffusing plate and the aluminum substrate is 0.55 times larger than the distance between LEDs.

The following needs to calculate the signboard height:

  • Height + diffusing plate’s thickness + aluminum substrate’s thickness (1.5mm) + substrate backboard thickness.
